It's down to the final two weeks of the semester, so life is busy at the moment. I have some great pieces to upload when I get the chance. I've been doing a number of pieces with anodized aluminum and niobium as well as a number of pieces combining glass and metal work.

I've been itching to do some drawing and painting, but I haven't had much of a chance and I'm still trying to teach myself how to digitally paint. Anyone out there with suggestions on where to find good tutorials would be really helpful. So far most of the ones I've found have left me slightly confused.

On a good note I was accepted to take a few courses at the Penland School of Craft in North Carolina this summer which should give me the chance to create some new and interesting work. I'm taking an enameling class and a lampworking class focusing on making figures (I'm seeing new and interesting Faerie Work at the moment). So there's be a fair bit of playing with glass and metal.....OOOOOHH Shiny!! and Colour too!!!!!

In the mean time it's back to the grindstone finishing papers and a few projects.
